Warm desk from day one: Inherit active client accounts and existing candidate relationships, with no cold-start period.
-

-
Autonomous environment: This organisation operates as a genuine recruitment business where experienced consultants are trusted to manage their desk commercially.
The Opportunity for Experienced Recruiters
This package is designed for an experienced recruiter who wants to earn well and work autonomously. The organisation operates as a genuine recruitment business, not a call-centre environment, and the structure reflects this. Benefits include a basic salary reaching £35,000, hybrid working, and an uncapped commission scheme with no artificial ceiling. The Driving & Logistics sector consistently sees high demand for qualified staff. According to the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), driver and logistics roles have remained among the most persistently hard-to-fill positions in the UK labour market, making this a commercially strong desk to inherit. You will also receive support from an experienced team and clear career progression opportunities as the business grows.
Uncapped Commission Structure
The commission scheme is uncapped, meaning your earnings scale directly with the revenue your desk generates. There are no artificial thresholds that reduce your percentage once you exceed a target. Consultants who manage their accounts commercially and grow client spend are rewarded proportionally, with no ceiling on what a high-performing desk can return. This structure ensures that your hard work directly translates into significant financial reward.
Your Role and Profile
This is a comprehensive 360 recruitment position covering the full billing cycle. You will develop existing client relationships, win new business, source and manage candidates, and ensure clients have the drivers and logistics staff they require each week. The role demands proactive account management, candidate sourcing across a competitive HGV and supply chain market, and a strong commercial approach to convert opportunities into revenue. A full UK driving licence is essential. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter seeking a role where career progression is tied to commercial output rather than tenure. If you have worked in driving, transport, freight, or wider logistics recruitment, you will recognise the client base and candidate pool immediately.
Desk Warmth and Initial Expectations
The desk carries active client accounts with established fill patterns, meaning you will be placing candidates from the first week rather than spending months building a client list. Existing relationships cover regular supply of HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers, along with warehouse and logistics support roles. The handover process is structured to protect client relationships during the transition, ensuring a smooth and productive start. This enables you to focus on delivery and growth immediately. Why Consider This Opportunity?
This opportunity allows you to join an established recruitment operation, take ownership of a warm desk, and build upon existing relationships. The business provides a supportive environment where consultants are properly rewarded for their contributions and growth. If you are an experienced recruiter seeking autonomy and significant earning potential, this role is structured to facilitate that mindset. It directly addresses common pain points: no cold-start desk, no micromanagement, no call-centre KPI culture, and no ambiguity around commission. The Driving & Logistics sector provides year-round demand, with peak periods in Q4 creating additional billing opportunities for consultants who manage their candidate pool proactively.
